My Review of Barbaric Vol. 3: Hell to Pay

Hey, fellow comic aficionados! Today, I'm psyched to share the scoop on a graphic novel that's making waves–Barbaric Vol. 3: Hell to Pay, brought to life by the dynamic trio of Michael Moreci, Nicholas Eames, and the artist extraordinaire, Nathan C. Gooden.

First off, let's take a moment to appreciate that title–Hell to Pay. It's like a promise of chaos and epicness, and trust me, this volume delivers on every bit of it.

If you've been on the Barbaric bandwagon (and seriously, who isn't after Entertainment Weekly's nod?), you're in for a treat. Owen the Barbarian and his trusty, bloodthirsty companion Axe are back, and they're not just back–they're bigger, bloodier, and badder than ever. It's a rollercoaster ride straight into the depths of Hell, and I'm here for it!

The accolades from Entertainment Weekly, Thrillist, and Screen Rant weren't just for show–this series has earned its stripes, and Vol. 3 cranks up the intensity. Owen, our barbarian extraordinaire, is busy taming dragons with an old pal, and you can bet your enchanted sword that it's not your run-of-the-mill dragon taming. And then there's Soren and Steel, crossing paths with a blast from Owen's not-so-friendly past. Spoiler alert: Hell hath no fury like a woman stabbed through the heart by an ugly orc. Yikes!

But hold up–who's carrying Axe? I mean, we're talking about a bloodthirsty weapon here, folks! The suspense is real, and you're gonna have to dive into the pages of this graphic novel to find out.

Clocking in at 128 pages, Barbaric Vol. 3 is a visual feast with Nathan C. Gooden's illustrations, bringing the barbaric world to life. The storytelling duo of Moreci and Eames keeps the adrenaline pumping, making it a page-turner from start to finish.

So, if you're into blood-soaked adventures, dragons, and a barbarian's journey through the depths of Hell, Barbaric Vol. 3: Hell to Pay is your golden ticket. It's not just a graphic novel; it's an immersive experience into a world where barbarians reign supreme, and the stakes are higher than ever.

My Review of Queen of Swords: A Barbaric Tale

Next up, I'm excited to share my thoughts on a graphic novel that's as thrilling as it sounds - Queen of Swords: A Barbaric Tale by Michael Moreci and the incredible illustrator Corin Howell.

First things first, can we talk about that title? It's like a battle cry for badassery, and trust me, the contents of this graphic novel live up to every bit of it.

Now, I don't know about you, but the combination of "Barbarian," "Assassin," and "Witch" had my attention from the get-go. It's like Red Sonja decided to throw a party with Dungeons & Dragons, and we're all invited! The trio of Serra, Ka, and Deadheart bring a triple threat of women's fury, bursting from the pages like a fireball of awesomeness.

The story is a wild ride filled with magic, mayhem, and a talking weapon that adds a sprinkle of humor to all the blood-spilling action. I mean, who wouldn't want a sword that not only cuts through enemies but also throws in some sassy remarks for good measure?

Serra, our witch with a checkered past, Ka, the assassin with her agenda, and Deadheart, the barbarian on a bash-everyone mission, from an unlikely team. Their unique skills collide as they set out on a quest to face a powerful foe whose ties weave their destinies together. And let's not forget the star of the show - Ga'Bar, the evil spirit trapped in Deadheart's sword. Talk about a villainous twist!

For those who've dabbled in the world of Barbaric before, this graphic novel is a must-read. It delves into the origin story of the tattooed witch, Soren, giving us a fresh perspective and a deeper understanding of the dark magic that shaped her into the formidable character she is today.

Queen of Swords is a doorway into a world where hell's got nothing on these badass Barbaric belles. So, grab your swords, gather your magical spells, and get ready to dive into a fantasy adventure that's as relentless as it is enchanting.

Don't miss out on the chance to snag a copy for yourself and get ready for a rollercoaster of thrills, spills, and wicked swordplay. And hey, there's a giveaway too–because who doesn't love free book goodies?

Check it out and let me know if you're as enchanted by the world of Queen of Swords: A Barbaric Tale as I am! Until next time, happy reading!
